The line is taken from the asphalt's own geometry: nothing is typed onto a stock drawing, the lap is drawn as it runs. Four layouts, twelve palettes and three ways of drawing it — a solid band, a hollow ribbon, or a band that grades along the lap by altitude. Add your own figures: your best lap, your car, the date. Those are yours — we did not time them. The circuit's length and country are its own published facts, and they print on a separate line.
