Growing-Up Strip — one photo a year, each with the age

One photo from every year, side by side in equal squares, and under each the age on that day and the date. The eighteenth-birthday strip made of every birthday photo, a baby's first twelve months, or the grandparents' “every summer”. The photos put themselves in date order. You type the date of birth; we work out the ages: “3 months”, “1 year”, “7 years 4 months”, “18 years”. The arithmetic follows the calendar and the birthday — no age goes up before the birthday comes round, 29 February babies included. Ages can read automatically (months until two, then years and months), in years only, or in months only. “Every birthday” proposes the date for each year; change any of them. A photo dated before the birth or after today is refused, and we say which one. You upload 3 to 24 photos, JPEG or PNG, up to 10 MB each. They are re-saved on our server with every bit of metadata removed, location included, and shown only to your own session. Every photo is cropped square — from the centre or from the top. If a photo is not large enough for its square at the size you chose, we say which one and at which size it would be; we never print it blurred. 70 × 50 and 100 × 70 cm landscape, 50 × 70 and 70 × 100 cm portrait; matte poster paper, foam board or heavy card. Three layouts — a one-row strip, a grid and a gently waving path — and twelve colours for the paper and the lettering. No square is printed under 4 cm: for a list that does not fit we say how many photos do and which size takes them all. The engine that draws the preview draws the print.

The drawing is the designer's; the colour and the logo are yours. What you see above is what we print.
