Stamp Design Rules

Stamp dies are laser-cut, which puts a few real limits on the design.

  • Text only — no logos, photos or drawings.
  • One typeface, every line bold; thin strokes are lost in the rubber.
  • The smallest text is 5 pt (1.76 mm). Nothing can go under it — that is the finest line the laser can cut.
  • A 1 mm safety margin is left on every edge of the print area.
