Family Tree Poster — from the grandparents to every grandchild, one sheet

At the top the grandparents, below them their children and their spouses, below those the grandchildren and their children: the whole family that came from one couple, generation by generation, on one poster. For a sixtieth wedding anniversary, a family reunion at the holidays, or a present from all the cousins together. You write the family person by person: the name, the years if you like (“1938–2011”, “b. 1994”), the spouse and the parents. Choosing either one of a couple as the parent is enough; the child goes under that couple. Brothers and sisters stand left to right in the order you write them — eldest first is the custom. After every change we tell you the shape of the tree back: “4 generations · 20 people · 4 couples”. Setting forty people out with siblings side by side, spouses together, no line crossing and everyone on one sheet is not a job for a pencil; it is ours. We print the names at the largest size that fits; if the family does not fit the size you chose at a readable size, we tell you before anything is printed — how many generations fit and which size would hold them all — and we never leave anyone off the tree or shrink the names until they cannot be read. Matte poster paper, 5 mm foam board or heavy card; 50 × 70 and 70 × 100 cm portrait, and 70 × 50 and 100 × 70 cm landscape for wide generations. Three layouts — rounded boxes with a sprig of leaves, a box-less classic, filled modern tiles — and eleven palettes.
